But you know what, Jaco? I think you should try to cartoonify your style even more. I really feel like it's something that would give your art a lot more charisma. Because the arms and the body really has a nice touch. Also the expressions you do or used to do was really cool. By experimenting with cartoony styles your style will get more interesting since the characters will vary more. Like 999, he'd look amazing with a little more cartoon into him.

Because when I look at your style I see that cartoon feel. I'm not saying "drop anime completely" you will still have it there more or less. I just think you should go crazy and try to just do whatever comes in mind with the design and not go by any anime rules (except proportion of course, all art has that).

By rules I mean things like "this is what an eye should look like" or "this is how you draw heads".

I could see your Jaco character as a better character if the head was less anime. I think that's just what he needs, some cartoon. He already has cartoon too.

If anything, try what I suggested and see what happens. It's always fun to experiment.
